I dunno, it seems like a fun and applicable word through which to imagine how the internet has connected all of us.
I used to take language classes through italki; and it really blew my mind how I could be talking to people for Vietnam, Japan, Russia, Italy and France all in the same week!
We’re really that connected on a global level!
